Dave joined CIBC in 2011 in a strategic advisory role within Technology and Operations before becoming Senior Vice-President, Business Support & Strategic Initiatives within Retail and Business Banking. He took on his current role in Technology in September of 2011.
Before joining CIBC, Dave was Senior Vice-President, Operations, Strategy & Architecture at Rogers Communications.
As a senior executive at Bank of Montreal, Dave was responsible for enterprise-wide application development and architecture for Retail and Business Banking, Wholesale and Corporate.
Dave is a graduate of the University of Waterloo in Electrical Engineering and Management Science, and has completed various executive programs at the Kellogg School of Management, Babson College and Schullich School of Business.
