David is the Technology Risk Officer for Investments+, Finance/Treasury, on the Investments at AIG, based in New York.  His primary focus is working across Investments, Finance/Treasury, and IT to continue enhancing the technology risk framework, improve reporting by IT and business of their IT Key Risk Indicators, and coordinate DR/BCM efforts with Investments and ERM business continuity leads.  

 

David joined AIG from BNY Mellon where he was VP, Technology Risk & Control.  He previously was VP, Global IT Risk Management at Prudential Financial.  Prior to changing paths into Risk Managment, David held Technology Strategy and Systems Architect roles for Prudential Financial focusing on corporate cost, quality, and productivity outcomes.  David began his career holding various technology roles at Mercedes-Benz, and Nabisco.

 

David holds his ISACA CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information System Control) and CDPSE (Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer) certifications, an EMTM (Executive Master of Technology Management) from Stevens Institute of Technology and a BS in Engineering Technology from NJ Institute of Technology. 

 

On a personal note, he has a passion for coaching and holds a USAHockey Level 4 coaching certification and a New Jersey Youth Soccer F license and has coached soccer and hockey at various recreation and travel levels.
