Douglas Shook specializes in the design, implementation and management of information technology, with particular focus on data management, data modeling, and information technology architecture. His academic research centers on the interaction of organizational structure and the effective use of computer-mediated information and communication systems. He has published in Organizational Science and the Journal of Management Studies. Professor Shook received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Marshall Business Student Government in 2003-2004, the \”Teaching Has No Boundaries\” award from USC for 2001-2002, Marshall\’s Golden Apple Award in 1996, 1999, 2001, and 2005.
