Eric Du is the VP of Technology & Architecture at SAP. He leads the cross-product architecture in SAP, focusing on driving cloud-native transformation of SAP’s applications and support the Intelligent Enterprise strategy of SAP, which includes the integrations of core business processes and the advancement of system architecture to deliver consistent cloud experience for customers and partners.

Prior to this role, he served as CTO & Head of Engineering of SAP’s Data Network division, and advisor to the global CTO of SAP, which he contributed to the technology and product strategy, customer and strategic partnerships, conducted M&A due diligences, acted as the cross-functional leadership role of many strategic projects. He also served as the technology advisor and expert startups in the Silicon Valley and globally. Before that, he held various technology leadership roles in architecting and building mission-critical enterprise systems in SAP.

Prior to joining SAP, Mr. Du started his career at Citibank as a software engineer for an internal HR payroll project. Mr. Du holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the Hunan Normal University, in China.
