Firasat is the Chief Technology Officer at arrivia where he is responsible for product development, infrastructure and operations, and data warehouse. He has more than 23 years of experience in software architecture, development, and technology leadership.

Prior to arrivia, he was VP of Software Engineering at Ticketmaster, one of the world’s largest ticketing platforms. He led a digital transformation program to modernize its core ticketing systems that improved system availability, automated disaster recovery, and developed a new global ticket delivery solution.

Prior to Ticketmaster, he was VP of Enterprise Architecture at RR Donnelley, one of the largest print and digital service providers in North America. He led Agile and DevOps transformation across its 1000+ global IT organization, which improved business agility and resulted in higher developer productivity.

Lastly, at Orbitz, he was Director of Engineering where he led delivery of key aspects for global platform capabilities that powered sixteen online brands, including orbitz.com and cheaptickets.com.

He enjoys learning new technologies, writing code now and again, and investing energies to build phenomenal teams.
