George is a Transformative Leader with deep expertise in IT Application & Organizational Management. 

 

Over the past few years, George has had increasing IT leadership responsibility in enabling distributed application teams to deliver high quality software products across lifeline platforms. He was instrumental in enabling Agile transformation, increasing Automation coverage by 65% while reducing test cycles by 36% and succeeded in overseeing large programs. In a strategic role as Director Head of Business Management & Chief of Staff supporting Technology Leadership for a 300+ people technology organization, and managing a $25M+ budget, George optimized the Total Cost of Ownership by saving $2M annually, delivering Annual Plans, Executive reporting, Workforce & Vendor management and building multi-year road maps.

George found his passion for software at Quark Inc where he was primarily responsible for the quality of its flagship product QuarkXPress to lead a global application testing team of 60+ resources in delivering numerous worldwide releases across 11+ foreign languages on both Mac & Windows. Various successes at Quark resulted in him and his family being transferred by Quark’s President & CEO from India to the U.S. His family loves the Colorado outdoors and enjoys hiking, biking while the children discover photography. He enjoys giving back to the community and is involved in a few non-profit organizations.
