Gerry Egan serves as Chief Technology Officer for Ingram Micro Inc. where he owns the digital products for the enterprise and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Ingram Micro’s web, eCommerce and marketplace technology strategies, inclusive of platforms, software and innovation programs. Prior to joining Ingram Micro, Egan spent 14 years at Symantec. Originally joining Symantec Research Labs where he was responsible for incubating new products based on in-house blue sky research. He most recently served as vice president for eCommerce for the Norton business. Egan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Dublin, Trinity College.
