Jim is the Chief Technology Officer at Billtrust with over 25 years’ experience building highly scalable and robust systems. He is a driven IT business and technology executive who has led several organizations through major growth phases, infrastructure initiatives and M&A integration.  Jim has been involved with multiple successful startup companies where he led all aspects of the IT organization. Jim is a former CIO of the year finalist for NJ, recognized for his contribution to driving breakthrough innovation and creating a strategic IT organization. He serves on multiple executive advisory boards for industry leading organizations and has been an industry speaker at various technology events dealing with the future of IT organizations and building cloud based solutions. He is currently a member of the Society for Information Management of NJ. Jim has also contributed to several trade articles on best practices within the business environment dealing with outsourcing business practices. Jim joined Billtrust in October 2002. Prior to Billtrust, he was the Executive Vice President of Product Development for Paytrust, Inc. where he was responsible for all IT initiatives. Prior to Paytrust, Jim worked as a Manager for Logic Works, as a Senior Consultant at Atlantic Information Management and as Senior Product Analyst for the U.S. Army. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance from Mount Saint Mary\’s College and management training from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
