Jason Hengels is a pragmatic veteran of the data security industry with a talent for building world class security teams. As the founder of Exposure Security, Jason has provided clients with CISO leadership & advisory services as well as hands-on technical services, including post-breach investigation & remediation, web application security testing, malware analysis, IPS & Splunk implementation and custom tool development. He is the former VP of Security at Box, Inc., which specializes in cloud-based storage and collaboration. Prior to his time at Box, he was a Senior Business Leader at Visa Inc. He has successfully managed numerous SAS 70, SSAE 16, PCI DSS and other security audits. Jason has spoken at RSA and other conferences and has a strong network of information security professionals. He currently holds CISSP, CISM and CRISC certifications and has over 16 years of experience as an information security professional. His specialties include security management, APT post-breach remediation and technical/architectural assessment of software and network security.
