His extensive experience working with global organizations; include securing Mergers and Acquisitions, implementing technology, process and change-management initiatives required to realize improvements in security posture, regulatory compliance, cost, revenue, and quality objectives.

Prior to joining DIRECTV, Swarnam was instrumental in helping large enterprises establish security strategies and translate the strategies into solutions. He led TransUnion Corporation’s global information security efforts as the global chief information security officer. Before that, he led a security consulting practice at Accenture. Throughout his career, Swarnam has advised C-level executives and corporate boards on IT strategy, security vision, risk management, and regulatory implications.
