Michael is a highly accomplished IT executive with experience leveraging expertise in global technology operations to drive new product innovation for increased profitability, improved operational efficiency, and spurred growth in Fortune 500 arenas. Having driven technical support and implementations within traditional as well as emerging industries, Michael has created and implemented comprehensive IT strategies for startups, acquisitions, and turnaround efforts. Michael is currently the CISO for AZ State Gov’t agency AHCCCS.  He has also held leadership roles at Wyndham Hotel Group, Digital Equipment Corporation, PetSmart, Prudential Financial, and Blue Lion Media where he has managed organizations up to 200 and $330M budgets. Michael has also implemented major ERP systems in SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials, and Microsoft Dynamics and performed several datacenter migrations. He has been nominated for CIO Magazine’s “Ones to Watch” award, is a published author, and received his bachelors of science degree in computer information systems from Arizona State University. He also holds many technology certifications and a security clearance.
