Michael is a Global Chief Information Officer with extensive experience building and leading high performance technology organizations in the Banking, Brokerage, and Insurance industries.

Currently, Michael is the CIO, Global Technology Operations at AXA XL, a division of AXA.  Michael leads and executes a Global delivery model focusing the Infrastructure, Service Management, Application Maintenance/Support and Risk Management organizations to fulfill AXA XL’s emphasis on customer experience, information protection and continuous improvement. 

Michael’s prior appointment was serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for The Hartford’s Commercial/Specialty Lines, Enterprise Claims and Corporate/Investment Platforms.  

Prior to joining The Hartford, Michael served as ACE’s (now Chubb) Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Global Information and Global Corporate systems.  Michael has enjoyed additional CIO appointments including Enterprise CIO at the American Automobile Association (AAA) and as SVP/CIO of the AIG Private Client Group. As well, Michael was Director of Global Corporate Banking Technology for Citibank’s Investment, Corporate and Private Banking businesses.

Michael holds an MBA from Pace University’s Lubin School of Management and an undergraduate degree from the New York Institute of Technology. He has served in advisory board positions for Jive software, Pace University, Rutgers University CX Program, the NY CDO Roundtable and several local community organizations including the Academy of Information Technology for Northport, New York schools.
