Monica Caldas was formerly the Chief Information Officer for GE Transportation, driving global digital transformation, by delivering innovative solutions for GE Transportation, its customers and employees. Monica brings IT industry expertise from both the financial services and industrial sectors to deliver business model innovation through a robust digital strategy.

Monica is also the senior executive co-sponsor for the company’s GE Girls program, a STEM based global company initiative. In addition, she is passionate about employee engagement, continuous improvement and an active member in the GE Women’s Network and Hispanic Forum.  Monica was also most recently recognized in Hispanic Executive Magazine’s Top 2016 Leaders, a finalist in the 2017 Chicago CIO Orbie Awards and recognized by Information Age Magazine as Digital Leader of the Year 2018.

Monica holds a Bachelor of Science in business and management information systems from the University of Connecticut, and a Master of Business degree from Pennsylvania State University.
