Nick Parrotta is the President of Digital Transformation Solutions and the Chief Digital and Information Officer at HARMAN, a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.  Nick is a member of the Senior Leadership Committee (SLC).?

As the President, Nick is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations and financial performance of HARMAN\’s DTS (Digital Transformation Solutions) business which focuses on building IP platforms, end to end customized outsourced solutions and product engineering services.

DTS employees over 7000+ diverse workforce and partners with Enterprises, Telco’s, OEMs, Chipset Vendors, and Technology partners across the globe. Leading with its design led solutions, deep domain expertise and superior delivery capabilities, DTS works with over 200 customers from a variety of industries across Industrial, Healthcare and Communications.

As CDIO, Nick is responsible for building diverse digital talent, driving strategic vision, speed of innovation, operational excellence, benefits realization, and cyber protection across HARMAN.

Nick is a recognized digital thought leader and serves on several boards including HARMAN’s Experiences Per Mile Advisory Council , Cisco Global Customer Advisory Board, Qlik Executive Advisory Board, and as awards chairman for NYCIO (InspireCIO chapter). 

Nick has been named “Global Technology Executive Who Matters” by HMG Strategy, Constellation Research Business Transformation 150, awarded the Drexel Lebow Top 50 Analytics , and named winner of the New York Global CIO of the Year ORBIE Award.

Nick joined HARMAN in 2017 with over 20 years of digital leadership experience, including with General Electric Company, Kaiser Permanente, IBM, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Nick is a strong ally and supporter in all areas of diversity and inclusion and was recognized in 2020 and 2021 as one of the Nation’s Top 50 CIO/CTO by the National Diversity Council.

Nick is an active leader in giving back to his community and philanthropic charities.  He has been an executive sponsor and supporter for many important causes including the United Way, Local Food Banks, and Habitat for Humanity.

Nick earned his MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y.
