Ransom Horne is a 25 year IT veteran currently serving as Managing Director at SMS Capital Partners. As a partner at SMS, Ransom serves as a member of the board of directors and CIO for the CIS Group of Companies. In this capacity, Ransom is involved in strategy definition, mergers and acquisitions as well as leading several organizational development activities. Prior to joining SMS Capital Partners, Ransom served as CIO for Elbit Systems of America (ESA). During his tenure at ESA he was an integral part of the senior management team that grew the multinational organization from $200 million to over $2.5 billion in annual revenue. Ransom gained critical skills in mergers and acquisitions, developing and implementing strategy, operations management and organizational structure. 

Ransom is an active member of the DFW chapter of the Society of Information Managers and holds a BS in Information Technology and an MBA from Texas Christian University.
