Richard Arenaro is a Senior Technology Executive with a progressive career spanning 25+ years across a broad range of technology, security and business disciplines.  Known as a trusted advisor to business leaders, his core belief is that it’s not enough to merely partner with the key stakeholders, but rather today’s technology leaders must become an intricate part of the growth strategy; proactively offering solutions which both enable execution of the business strategy and lift revenues.

With a focus on mentoring great talent and building award winning teams, Richard has been able to successfully lead numerous transformative technology initiatives, build world class security operations centers and create commercial security platforms that have been prominently featured in Forbes, the New York Times and Gartner Research.

In his most recent role as Chief Information Security Officer for Horizon Media, he is responsible for the company’s global information security program.  Prior to that, he served as Managing Director, Chief Information Officer & CISO for Stroz Friedberg, a global data risk management and cyber response company.  Other career highlights include positions as Regional CTO for Commerzbank AG,   Director of Information Systems at Lifetime Television and VP of Infrastructure for Citibank’s Consumer Cards Division.

Through various community organizations, and government affiliations, Richard volunteers time towards sponsoring children’s health, education and leadership programs, participating in outreach platforms and working with local law enforcement entities and state agencies on broader reforms.  Richard has held board of director seats at the YMCA, Weeksville Heritage Society and the Forest Hills Inn Corporation.
