Ron Ijack joined Roots in 2021, bringing with him more than two decades of diverse IT experience. Prior to joining Roots, Ron was the VP of Application Development at Canada Goose for two years. In addition to retail, Ron held increasingly senior roles in various industries including the software start-up Upstream Works and multimedia companies the Globe & Mail and Postmedia. He has spent his career running software development, web development, project management teams and agile transformations. In his role at Roots, Ron oversees all IT responsibilities including, IT and retail support, cybersecurity and networking, web and integration development, reporting, and data management. Currently, he is working on modernizing the technical stack, system integrations, and cloud migration.
