Rucha leads information technology for retail stores, merchandising and marketing, supply chain and manufacturing for Albertsons Companies – one of the largest food and drug retailers in the United States with nearly 2,300 stores in 34 states and Washington, D.C. She is a strong leader with demonstrated experience in enabling business strategies through technology solutions. She oversees various digital transformation initiatives across her portfolios including legacy modernization, robotic automation and data science solutions. She also leads innovation and emerging technology trials across retail, merchandising and supply chain. Prior to joining Safeway in 2013, Rucha was part of Motorola’s technology team. She also has consulting background from working at PriceWaterHouseCoopers and more.
