Sanaz Yashar is the Co-Founder and CEO of Zafran Security, a Cybersecurity Startup offering a groundbreaking Risk & Mitigation platform to enterprises. Prior to Zafran, she was a senior manager at Mandiant (Acquired by Google), leading critical global investigations in collaboration with government agencies to uncover advanced threats and providing hands-on hunting and remediation recommendations. Before Mandiant, Sanaz served as director of threat intelligence at Cybereason, an Israeli cybersecurity company, leveraging over 15 years’ experience within the elite 8200 unit of the Israel Defense Forces, specializing in communications, intelligence, cryptography, and diverse cyber operations. Achieving the rank of “major,” she was also promoted as a Personal Excellency of Intelligence Director. Born in Tehran, Iran, Sanaz fled to Israel, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Tel Aviv University.
