Scott Hicar is Vice President of Business Process and CIO for Benchmark Electronics.  In this role, he has global responsibility for ensuring consistent processes, systems and infrastructure efficiently support our business and our customers globally.

Mr. Hicar has more than 25 years of Technology Leadership experience in transformational roles. Prior to Benchmark Scott was CIO for TwentyEighty, a corporate training company focused on sales enablement, leadership, program execution and credit performance. He has served as Senior Vice President and CIO for DigitalGlobe, Senior Vice President and CIO at Solectron Corporation, and Chief Information Officer and Vice-President of Worldwide IT at Maxtor. He has held management positions in the Supply Chain/ERP practice at Price Waterhouse, as well as serving as an internal consultant within ICI Americas.

Mr. Hicar received his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in business administration from Ohio University.
