Suhit Gupta is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Solutions division at The Carlyle Group. He is responsible for the business value derived from technology solutions for Carlyle’s Solutions business segment, which offers Investment Management services to the marketplace. The Solutions segment develops and manages investment products in Hedge Fund, Real Asset and Private Equity vehicles. His team is responsible for creating and maintaining a target state technology architecture and implementation of the roadmap for all Technology systems (Application and Infrastructure) in this area. He also serves as the chair of the Architecture Board at Carlyle.

Suhit is a senior technology manager and an expert in the field of technology transformation. His career has been focused on enabling firms to achieve enterprise class technology by helping them formulate, evaluate, and implement IT solutions, policies, and initiatives that propel the business. He has experience in IT Engineering & Operations, and Application Development. Further, he specializes in organizational design, creation, and turnaround, inter-departmental program management, solutions architecture, and strategy.

Suhit\’s previous roles have included Chief Technology Officer at Maverick Capital, Ltd., Technology Manager at Bridgewater Associates and Program Manager at Microsoft Corporation. Suhit holds a Ph.D., M.Phil. and M.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University.
