He has a reputation for effectively leading change from strategy to execution and for building and motivating high-performing teams within both start ups and Fortune 500 companies.
In his most recent role as CIO of EyeCare Partners, a leading eye care provider with 700+ locations in 18 states of US and 10,000 employees, Supantha led digital and technology teams to propel business growth through digital transformation and technology innovation. Under his leadership, the company reimagined its branding, stood up digital experience and ecommerce foundation, developed proprietary PM/EMR platform, constructed a data lake for 360-view of patients & business, transformed supply chain and finance with SAP implementation, grew the company 3X with 50+ M&A integration and 10 de-novo implementations. Prior to EyeCare Partners, under Supantha’s leadership Aspen Dental, leading DSO with 1000+ locations in 40 states, improved patient experience digitizing patient intake/check-in, simplifying online scheduling, enhancing patient portal and building a proprietary PM/EMR system while continuing to grow the business organically through de-novo, one new practice per week.
Supantha holds an MBA from University of Michigan – Ross School of Business. He also holds a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Regional Engineering College, Durgapur, India. He earned Digital Marketing Specialization certificate from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and The Materiality of ESG Factors certificate from University of Pennsylvania, Wharton. In addition, Supantha is a certified PMP and PMI-ACP from Project Management Institute and holds several certifications on Cybersecurity, Big Data and Machine Learning.
