Theresa Miller is a senior technology executive with over 30 years of experience leading media and entertainment companies through digital transformation including holistic enterprise-wide approaches to business process transformation, cybersecurity, and business continuity.  She is known for her inspiring leadership style and for her dedication to inclusivity through her work with Women in Technology Hollywood and other STEM focused organizations.  Theresa’s career reflects a demonstrated track record in leading successful large-scale technology initiatives including on premise and cloud-based ERP systems, digital supply chain initiatives, data and analytics/AI initiatives at high growth companies.  She also brings deep corporate governance experience through her oversight of cybersecurity, work in internal audit and as the executive sponsor for business continuity at her current company.  

Currently, Theresa is the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Lionsgate, a world-class motion picture and television studio operations aligned with the STARZ premium global subscription platform to bring a unique and varied portfolio of entertainment to consumers around the world. In her role, Theresa is responsible for management of IT across the enterprise, setting the strategic direction of technology initiatives and overseeing technology budget and personnel.  Theresa has been significantly involved in leading company transition efforts during several mergers and acquisitions, including the $4.4 billion acquisition of Starz in 2016 and its current divestiture of this asset.  Theresa reports to and attends Lionsgate’s Audit Committee meetings on a quarterly basis covering cybersecurity and technology topics.  During her tenure at Lionsgate, she has collaborated with her business peers to develop and maintain mission critical company policies including disaster recovery, business continuity, incident response and record retention. 

Theresa is a Board Member for the Women in Technology Hollywood Foundation, a 501c3 charitable organization, where she also serves as Treasurer and is a member of the Executive Committee.  She is also a Board Member of Innovate@UCLA, a member-based partnership between UCLA and the southern California technology community, where she chairs the Women in Technology committee.  She is also a long-term member of the Customer Advisory Committee for Box.

Recently recognized as the 2022 Southern California CIO of the Year by the Inspire CIO Leadership Network, Theresa is a frequent speaker on leadership and technology topics and is a mentor for STEM Advantage and Women in Technology Hollywood.

Theresa holds a B.B.A. in management information systems from Texas A&M University.  She is a graduate of UCLA’s Executive Program of Management.
