Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Day was the Chief Information Officer for Sysco Corp., a Fortune 100 company. There, she focused on IT strategic planning efforts that led to a business transformation which included a centralized, standard approach across business processes with a shared-services objective.
She also led strategic change initiatives to develop Sysco\’s first mobile applications, consolidation and hosting of infrastructure, as well as staff augmentation and managed service delivery models. Ms. Day served as a member of the executive risk management committee and the executive risk owner for data protection, cyber security and information technology availability.
Other areas of focus included vendor management / contract negotiation, software selection, enterprise data warehouse strategy, organization design and movement from decentralized to centralized IT delivery / management, as well as migration of custom applications to best-of-breed application model and to SAP as the foundational ERP.
Ms. Day currently holds leadership positions on two non-profit boards, Women and Foodservice Forum and Genesys Works Houston. Both organizations represent her commitment to the development of youth and women.
Ms. Day earned a bachelor\’s degree in business management from Our Lady of the Lake University.
