As GenAI projects continue to proliferate across companies, CISOs and other cyber leaders are carefully tracking the cyber, data, regulatory, privacy and other risks facing the enterprise. The New York CISO Summit will kick off with a high-level executive panel discussion comprising of world-class CISOs and cybersecurity leaders focused on ‘Visionary Global Leadership: Thriving Securely in the Age of Accelerated Innovation.’ The panelists will focus on the visionary leadership required by CISOs and cybersecurity leaders to see around the corners and properly safeguard the enterprise amid a heightened risk environment.

Top-tier speakers for the panel include Juan Espinosa, VP, Critical Infrastructure Cyber Security, Parsons Corp.; Klara Neginsky, Deputy CISO, Royal Caribbean Cruises; Daniel Opuku-Frempong, CISO, Zillion Technologies; and moderated by Bala Rajagopalan, CISO, Tradweb.

The event will also be highlighted by The HMG Innovation Accelerator, where CEOs from cybersecurity start-ups will share the challenges they solve for clients, the innovation they deliver to companies and how their solutions are differentiated in the market. Cassie Crossley, author of Software Supply Chain Security: Securing the End-to-End Supply Chain for Software, Firmware, and Hardware will be discussing her newly released book. Cassie has written a crucial guide to secure the trillions of lines of code shaping our world. Emphasizing collaboration across the supply chain, the book provides practical insights to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks, involving IT, development, operations, manufacturing, and procurement. It’s an essential resource to safeguard software, firmware, and hardware, preventing potential financial crises.

As we discussed earlier, another panel of cybersecurity experts will focus on Making Generative AI Initiatives Safe and Secure. This includes GenAI projects that are unsanctioned by IT departments. Florin Rotar, Chief AI Officer at Avanade, will sit down for a Fireside Chat with HMG Strategy Founder and CEO Hunter Muller to share recommendations for applying Generative AI from concept to value.

As another hot topic for CISOs and cybersecurity leaders, we’ll also dive into How the SEC Cyber Disclosure Regulations are Evolving.
