Al Ghous is the Sr Director of Cyber Security for GE Digital. In this capacity Al is responsible for GE Digital’s Cloud Platform and Product Cyber Security where he is focused on building secure and resilient Cloud for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) known as Predix – first of its kind. Al’s Cyber Security organization includes Product Security, Infrastructure and Platform Security, Identity and Access Management, Encryption, Product Assurance and Response Services. Al’s organization takes pride in their approach to secure software development practices while maintaining a state of preparedness to detect anomalous activities and take necessary action to protect Predix and GE’s Customers.

Al has been in the Cyber Security industry for over 18 years contributing in different capacities from Risk Management to Solution Consulting and Security Architecture. Al is active in the Cyber Security industry and part of several consortiums. He has held leadership roles in organizations such as Ernst and Young, Oracle, Kaiser Permanente and Informatica to name a few.
