Julie has nearly 20 years of experience in Information Technology, Cyber Security, and Data Management across numerous Industry Verticals. Julie is currently the General Manager, Global Vice President of Digital Identity and Data Services at Optiv where she is accountable for developing and implementing identity and data services that protect organization’s most critical assets while ensuring a secure, compliant and uniform digital experience. Julie has held key transformative CISO and Data Leadership positions where she established and aligned global security and data strategies while leading the implementation of Security and Data capabilities to reduce each organizations cyber risks exposure while enabling them to maximize their data to grow revenue, product evolution and consumer delight.
Julie was a finalist for the Atlanta Technology Professional (2017) Award and the Central Region Information Security Executive of the Decade and was recognized as the Central Region Information Security Executive of 2010, which are awards sponsored by Tech Exec Networks (T.E.N.). Currently, Julie is serving as Board Member on the Identity Defined Security Alliance and an Executive Committee member for the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). Julie has also served on the ISC2 Trustee Foundation, a Board member of The Drug Free Alliance and Dell Software Security Advisory.
Julie has a passion for supporting women in their advancement and fulfillment within their careers and has sponsored several Women in Technology Intiatives. Julie also has obtained Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP), and Certified Governance Enterprise IT (CGEIT) certifications and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
