When the world changed in mid-March, we quickly pivoted to a virtual events model, branded as HMG Live!. Within the first 30 days, we scheduled and produced 10 virtual events, including Virtual Briefings (one-on-one interviews with world-class technology executives), Virtual Summits and webinars. In fact, our Virtual CIO Summit of America on March 27 drew more than 300 registrants while the San Francisco CIO Virtual Summit on April 23 drew more than 370 registrants.
We haven’t stopped there. We’ve since added 15 additional Virtual Summits, including our upcoming Houston CIO Virtual Summit on Friday, May 1 at 8 a.m. CT featuring an All-Star lineup, including Snehal Antani, Former CTO with the U.S. Department of Defense; Renee Arrington, President & COO, Pearson Partners International; Jamey Cummings, Senior Client Partner, Korn Ferry; Jennifer Hartsock, VP & CIO, Baker Hughes; Venu Madduri, CIO, Mears Group; and Marie Myers, CDO, HP – with more Virtual Summits on the way.

Together, we are experiencing a crisis of truly global proportions. The sheer intensity and magnitude of this crisis would have been unimaginable last year. Today, we have no choice except to step up and meet the challenges ahead of us, boldly and courageously.
The modern technology leader will play a pivotal role in determining the future of the enterprise. I am exceptionally confident that as a group, we will provide the guidance, counsel, advice and experience required to drive forward and achieve success.
Remember, the enterprise is counting on us to overcome the hurdles and devise practical solutions on both the tactical and strategic levels. This is the true test of our character and our determination. I know in my heart that we will make the proper choices and navigate successfully through this storm.
