On December 1, we hosted our final conference of the year, the 2022 New York Global Innovation Summit at the Harvard Club of New York City. The summit’s truly all-star roster of world-class speakers included Sean Lennon, CIO, Medtronic; Rocco Grillo, Managing Director – Global Cyber Risk Services & Incident Response Investigation, Alvarez & Marsal; Cat Lang, SVP Global Education, ServiceNow; Fred Harris, Head of Cybersecurity Risk, Data Risk and IT Risk, Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking; Lee Caswell, SVP, Product & Solutions Marketing, Nutanix; David Mahon, Global Chief Information Security Officer, Deloitte Global; Harry Moseley, CIO Advisor, Zoom; and a “Who’s Who” of stellar leaders and executives from our industry.

Each of the presentations and panels were superlative and highly relevant to the current challenges and opportunities facing technology executives and fellow members of the C-suite. I was especially impressed by the Executive Panel focused on Women in Tech Sparking Change in the Organization which explored best practices for tackling the top challenges and opportunities facing women in technology leadership roles. The panel was moderated by Cindy Finkelman, Managing Director, Alvarez & Marsal and Vice President, SIM NY Metro and included Michelle Garvey, Senior Advisor, Alvarez & Marsal; Daphne E. Jones, Board of Directors AMN Healthcare, Barnes Group, Inc. and Masonite International and Founder, The Board Curators; Asha Saxena, Founder and CEO, Women Leaders in Data & AI; and Katherine Wetmur, Managing Director & Head, Technology and Operations Risk, Morgan Stanley.

The Executive Panel on Safeguarding the Enterprise Against Escalating Global Cyber Threats was also remarkable. The session was a deep dive into the current threat landscape with expert insights from the world-class security leaders on the panel. Fred Harris, Head of Cybersecurity Risk, Data Risk and IT Risk, Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking, was the moderator and the panel included Michael Ferguson, Director of Security Transformation, Netskope; Frank Price, Senior Vice President & Chief Information Risk Officer, Labcorp; Steven Wallstedt, CISO and Head of Business Continuity, ABN AMRO Group; and Dale Zabriskie, Field CISO, Cohesity.

We couldn’t produce our world-class events without the support of our partners. Valued partners supporting the 2022 New York Global Innovation Summit include ANB Technologies; Box; Centripetal; Cohesity; Coupa Software; Delphix; Globant; Google Cloud; Lemon Learning; Nasuni; Netskope; Nutanix; PagerDuty; SentinelOne; ServiceNow; and Zoom.
