He studies and teaches Aikido, rides motorcycles, Scuba dives, and his favorite teaching is “From Chaos Comes Greatness,” a loose translation from the “I Ching”.

Nellson Burns moved to Dallas in 2007 from Houston to become Holly Corporation’s Vice President of Information Technology.  Holly Corporation is an independent petroleum refiner and marketer producing high-value products such as gasoline, diesel and jet fuel as well as specialty lubricants, oil and waxes.  Holly has major refinery operations New Mexico, Utah and Oklahoma that drive revenues above 8 billion dollars per year.  Nellson, a rising star in the Metroplex IT community, was recruited by Holly for this role at the age of 32.  Nellson helped complete the successful implementation of a comprehensive SAP software suite in 2007.  When Holly acquired two significant refineries within seven months in 2009 and doubled its refining capacity, Nellson successfully spearheaded the rapid business and technology integration efforts, including integrating the new refineries into SAP with a 4 week period.  He will get the chance to leverage these integration skills again, as Holly plans to merge with Frontier Oil Corporation in the early 3^rdquarter this year.  Prior to joining Holly, Nellson was with Ernst & Young’s, then CapGemini’s, Oil & Gas SAP practice for nine years, were he “refined” his IT leadership skills.  Nellson serves as a member of the SIM DFW Chapter Board, and is the chairman of the global advisory council for SAP’s for Oil & Gas sector.  He is also on the advisory board for the Terry Foundation, the state’s largest private source of full academic scholarships.

Neal received his Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington, and has resided in the Dallas area since 1984.

Mike Anderson serves as Chief Digital and Information Officer for Netskope. Over the past 25 years, he has built and led high-performing teams across a wide range of disciplines, including sales, operations, business development, and information technology. He joined Netskope from Schneider Electric, a global fortune 500 company, where he served as SVP, CIO and Digital Leader for North America.

In 2020, Constellation Research named him a member of the Business Transformation 150, an elite list that recognizes the top global executives leading business transformation efforts in their organizations. The National Diversity Council also recognized him as a Top 50 CIO for diversity and inclusion in 2020 and 2021.

Before Schneider Electric, Mike served as CIO for CROSSMARK, where he digitally transformed the business capabilities for the 40,000 employee service provider to the retail and consumer goods industry. Judy has held this position since August, 2011.  In this role, Ms. Asher champions research and innovation for Information Technology examining technologies and trends in detail to understand opportunities and impact.  Ms. Asher has over 25 years experience in IT, and holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Michigan State University Company, and an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business.  During her years at Ford, Judy has had various roles and responsibilities including Application Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering, IT Strategy, and Organizational Development.  Married with two sons, Ms. Asher is passionate about innovation, women in technology, and flexible work. She is a leader in the Michigan Council of Women in Technology, and Ford\’s IT Women in Leadership group.  Additionally, she enjoys golf, knitting, and involvement with her community.

Edward Block has over 20 years of experience as an information security professional, primarily focused on the effects of emerging law on personal privacy at the state, federal and international level. Edward has assisted and managed technical teams performing all aspects of information security, including credentialing functions, firewall and IDS deployment and monitoring, and penetration testing. Edward has also developed information security policies, standards and guidelines that balance protection of information assets with legal and functional requirements. 

As an attorney, Edward uses his security knowledge to ensure clients are in compliance with state, federal and international regulations. He also counsels clients to ensure they are prepared in the event of a security breach and provides guidance on their cyber insurance needs.  

As the former chief information security officer for the state of Texas, Edward understands the challenges that organizations face as they address emerging cybersecurity threats.

Raveendra (Ravi) Boggaram serves as Sr. Director of Global Digital Services & Platforms for PepsiCo Inc.  His 24 years of experience includes various roles involving direct P&L management, full digital transformation for global organizations and IT leadership. Chris Boult is an executive leader with a passion for driving business innovation and organization excellence. Chris was recently at Greyhound Lines Inc as the Chief Information Officer. Just prior to that, Chris was Vice President of Infrastructure & Data Services at Sabre Holdings. Before joining Sabre, Chris was Managing Partner and CTO at ProcureVision, an IT and business strategy consulting company. Until 2010, Chris was Senior Vice President and CIO of First Group America, a $5B organization. At First Group, Chris partnered with the CEO to lead the rejuvenation of the Greyhound brand with a focus on bringing new technology to the customer experience. This included the installation of wifi on the entire fleet, and installation of a GPS and engine management system to provide Operations with real-time tracking and control capabilities across the whole fleet. Chris also drove the rollout of a North America-wide wide area network implementation, as well as a data center consolidation & outsourcing program. Prior to that, Chris was a Partner within the Retail and Travel & Transportation practices at Accenture, serving clients across North America and Europe. At Accenture, he led major initiatives at JetBlue and Ross Stores, both on the applications and infrastructure side. This included the sale and delivery of an offshore middleware support model at Ross. Chris also led the global PeopleSoft Financials rollout for a major staffing company. Chris is a member of the Dallas CIO Executive Summit Governing Body and is the chairman of the regional board of The Make A Wish Foundation of North Texas, as well as being an active Wish Granter in that chapter.  Chris earned a degree in Italian and German at the University of Lancaster in the UK. Prior to entering independent practice, Mr. Dunn served as the Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations for First Command Financial Services, Inc. Mr. Dunn also served as the CIO for EdExpress Texas, LLP. In this role, he was a key participant in the development of a patented loyalty program supporting saving for education expenses. Earlier in his career, Kevin Dunn was Technology Strategist for Whittman Hart where he provided strategic guidance on network design, electronic commerce, security, and intranet deployment issues to senior management in the venture capital, manufacturing, insurance, banking, and finance industries through white papers, technical reports, presentations, and as a national corporate speaker. He also was a key member of information technology team at the Superconducting Super Collider project.

Mr. Dunn graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication focusing on the areas of marketing, advertising and corporate video production. Kevin lives in Duncanville, Texas with his wife and two children. Alain leverages his 20+ years as a cybersecurity and IT professional to systematically reduce risk in organizations by developing and implementing innovative enterprise security programs. His experience spans a range of industries and includes global companies such as Google and Siemens.

Currently, Alain is the Sr. Business Information Security Officer at Rent-A-Center. In this role, he works with company leaders to assess cyber risk and ensure the security of critical information assets and IT operations across business units.

William Floyd is the current CIO/CISO for FUTU US, a Capital Markets Financial Services global organization. William is formerly CIO/CTO of Maxxsure, LLC (April 2020 – July 2021) an AWS cloud-based Software-as-a-Service provider of Cyber Risk and Vulnerability Identification, Quantification and Management platform with customers in both Commercial and Public (Federal, State, County and Local Government) organizations. Prior to that, William has been CIO/CTO at Lexipol, LLC, an AWS cloud-based Software-as-a-Service provider of an operational and risk management compliance platform, providing customizable policies, procedures and training solutions for the Federal, State, County and Local Government and Public Safety Service sector (Law Enforcement, Fire and Rescue, EMS and Corrections) with over 7500 customers. Larry Freed is Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Overhead Door Corporation, a leading manufacturer of doors and openers for residential, commercial, industrial and transportation applications. The company, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, has five divisions: Access Systems Division (ASD), which features the Overhead Door and Wayne-Dalton brands; The Genie® Company, manufacturer of remote-controlled garage door opening systems; Horton Automatics, a manufacturer of automatic entrance systems; TODCO, the largest producer of truck doors for the transportation industry and Creative Door Services, Western Canada’s leader in providing door products and services to the residential, commercial and industrial markets. Mr. Freed began his career with U.S. Can Corporation, an international general line, plastics and specialty packaging manufacturer, where he held various positions in Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, and then Information Technology. Ransom Horne is a 25 year IT veteran currently serving as Managing Director at SMS Capital Partners. As a partner at SMS, Ransom serves as a member of the board of directors and CIO for the CIS Group of Companies. In this capacity, Ransom is involved in strategy definition, mergers and acquisitions as well as leading several organizational development activities. Prior to joining SMS Capital Partners, Ransom served as CIO for Elbit Systems of America (ESA). I have been at Mary Kay Inc. since 1999 and currently serving in the role of Director of Data & Infrastructure Services. Gautam joined DCSD with over 18 years of Information Technology experience. In those years he started work as a technology consultant for companies like Verizon and Johnson & Johnson prior to joining New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE). It was at NYCDOE he discovered his passion for solving deeply complex educational and operational problems using technology. During his 8 years at NYCDOE he managed various IT projects impacting the 1.4 million students and 1,600 schools. He then moved from the largest school district in the US to Atlanta Public Schools (APS) to work in an urban environment with significant equity issues as it relates to technology.

Chintan Shah was the Vice President of Data Science and Analytics at Hyla Mobile. He leads the Analytics, Data Science, Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence within HYLA and is responsible for development of HYLA Analytics platform (Device IQ) that provides customers with actionable insights in the domain of mobile device lifecycle.  Chintan has over 16 years of experience building, and leading organizations centered on Analytics, Predictive Modeling, Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence. In his various roles, he developed and executed on enterprise information management, information delivery and data monetization strategies. Prior to Joining HYLA, Chintan led the data warehousing and business intelligence team at Verizon. Parthiv Sheth is Senior Director, Marketing Technology & Operations at Adobe. In this role, he leads the planning, implementation & delivery of best in class capabilities to enable worldwide marketing. He started his career at KPMG where he consulted and delivered business technology solutions to Fortune 500 clients. Prior to joining Adobe in 2014, Parthiv served as Director in marketing at Hyatt Hotels Corp where he led the efforts to build and improve customer data & analytics capabilities. In a prior role at Hyatt, as a Director in IT, he drove IT strategy, key initiatives and operations for corporate functions. Parthiv holds a Master’s degree in computer science from the University of Illinois and MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Barry Shurkey is Chief Information Officer for NTT DATA Services. He is responsible for optimizing and advancing the company’s IT roadmap to support the company and its clients.  Barry was awarded the 2018 Corporate CIO Tech Titan award, 2019 D Magazine CIO of the Year Award , 2019 ORBIE Global CIO of the Year Award , 2020 Business Transformation 150 Leaders and recently, was named to the 2020 D CEO Dallas 500 most powerful business leaders.  He is credited with leading the IT integration of Dell Services into NTT DATA – one of the largest IT acquisitions of the time. In just 18 months, Barry’s team migrated more than 1,000 applications, 200 IT projects, nine data centers, 54 facilities, and 1,600 data circuits.  Previously, Barry was a senior vice president overseeing the company’s $3.1B Transition Services Agreement (TSA) with Dell, and before that, he led the company’s overall service delivery transformation at the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) account.

Before his roles with NTT DATA, he was a group vice president for Travelport, where he led the solutions team that was responsible for new airline product development and running major systems for airlines.  Previously, he was CIO-North America at Vertex Business Services. Before that, he served as Global Transportation Applications Industry Executive for EDS/HP where he supported 235 clients and led more than 3,500 people who provided services for global transportation, travel and hospitality firms.

He serves on Advisory Board for DFW Alliance of Technology and Women (ATW) which empowers and promotes women in technology.  Barry is also on the Inspire Dallas CIO Advisory Board, Tech Titans Board, HMG Strategy CIO Advisory Board and Evanta Dallas CIO Governing Board.

In this role Linda provides strategic leadership and budget control over all aspects of IT.  She championed the NGA’s migration to the cloud with special emphasis on Software-as-a-Service platforms.  Is leading the development of an enterprise Data Analytics program in support of the Gallery’s strategic goals for visitor engagement, operational efficiency, works of art collection completeness, financial stewardship and compliance.  Also, spearheading the creation of an Innovation Program, with a focus on the integration of digital technology into the museum to enrich visitor experiences while maintaining the Gallery’s standard for excellence.

Prior to coming to the Gallery, she served as Corporate Vice President at Mitrek Systems, Inc, a nonprofit scientific research company formed from a restructuring of the MITRE Corporation.  Mitretek provided systems engineering and software acquisition expertise to the federal government.  There, she managed an organization of 250 senior level IT professionals.  Previously, at the MITRE Corporation, a nonprofit scientific research center, she served as Technical Director of the Software Engineering Center, responsible for strategic direction and management of 150 senior level staff providing software engineering and software acquisition expertise to various Department of Defense and federal government programs.  In her earlier career, she held other management and technical software development positions in private industry.  She holds a BS in mathematics from the University of Maryland and an MSA in Information Systems Technology from George Washington University.

Tom is responsible for the Quality Assurance team at General Motors Financial where he leads approximately 150 software developers and QA Analysts supporting the websites and eCommerce mobile apps, loan servicing and originations systems, ERP, and internal applications. Prior to GM Financial, Tom worked at Travelport and Maptek, leading global teams at both companies. Trey helps lead global digital strategy and transformation initiatives at CBRE identifying and evaluating emerging technology startup solutions and trends to formally recommend options (e.g. build, buy, partner, invest) to the CIO and Executive Investment Committee. Trey joined CBRE in 2013 as a co-founder and leader in CBRE’s global corporate innovation team (CBRE Labs) where the team partnered with executive sponsors and emerging technology companies to create, design, launch, and scale new digital offerings and business models.

Bryan Tutor was Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Elbit Systems of America.  He has more than 30 years experience leading technically diverse organizations within Information Technology, Production Technology, Strategic Planning, Supply Chain Solutions, and Program Office Leadership with P&L leadership of nearly one-half a billion in revenues.  In less than two years with Elbit Systems of America, he has restructured the organization, in-sourced certain functions, developed multi-year strategic plan, renewed corporate overseas relationships and developed an overall strong partnership with the business.  This partnership provides opportunities to improve the effective use of digital assets and eliminate friction points within the business functions.

Prior to Bryan joining Elbit Systems of America, he spent 30 years with the lineage of LTV Aerospace and Defense, Vought Aircraft, Northrop Grumman, and Triumph Group.  He has led large scale business transformation projects, deployed systems for new production sites, provided leadership through consolidations, relocations, mergers and acquisitions.  He is a Mechanical Design Engineering Technology graduate of Oklahoma State University.  He recently completed his MBA in Information Technlogy Management.

Peter has also devoted a substantial amount of time and energy serving government agencies and non-profit organizations by addressing their computer, Social Media, and Internet issues. Peter served as Founding Chair for 12 years of the TEXAS SUPREME COURT Judicial Committee on Information Technology whose mission is to put Internet on the desktops of all 3,200 judges in Texas and implement state eFiling (txcourts.gov/jcit).

In 1994 Peter was President of the DALLAS BAR ASSOCIATION and also served on the Board of Directors of the STATE BAR OF TEXAS, where he served as Founding Chair of the Computer & Technology Section. Peter teaches courses on eDiscovery and the Law of eCommerce as an Adjunct Professor at the SMU DEDMAN LAW SCHOOL, and is on the founding Board of Advisors of the SMU Computer Law Review and Technology Journal.

The STATE BAR OF TEXAS gave Peter the Gene Cavin Award for Excellence in Continuing Legal Education in 2013, and a Lifetime Achievement Award for Promoting Technology in the Law in 2004. Brian seeks to add value to any endeavor or relationship he enters. He graduated with his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed his anesthesiology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. Woods also spent seven years in the United States Air Force, where he served as Chief of Aerospace Medicine and Flight Surgeon for the 28th Bomb Squadron, receiving the Meritorious Service Medal for his reengineering of the 7th Bomb Wing’s programs and services related mobility and manpower processing following 911.

In 2007 he joined NorthStar Anesthesia in Dallas Texas and has helped lead and grow services in the company to over 1,000,000 anesthetics delivers per year in over 170 hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers across 21 states, raising revenue from $14M to $493M annually. As a passionate visionary and innovative problem solver, he has led the changes required for clinical engagement of nearly 2,500 medical professionals and taken the lead on the development of innovative computer systems and technological projects that help NorthStar maintain its leading edge in the healthcare market. Brian’s ability to be creative and ‘cross-talk’ several different sectors from business, healthcare, IT, culture, and leadership provides him with the ability to lead complex projects and lead a wide variety of teams and individuals to accomplish new results.

In addition to his work in healthcare, Brian has enjoyed influence and success in several IT start ups leveraging cloud-based technologies, as well as a long career in the music industry helping manage and guide several international touring acts including Aaron Watson in the country music space, as well as Shane & Shane in the contemporary Christian music markets.
